Dear Muncie OUTreach Partner,
We are so excited to be celebrating our 10th anniversary with you! In 2012, Laura and Jeff Janney founded Muncie OUTreach after years of driving their teenage son to Indianapolis every week to find him a safe and welcoming community.
Laura and Jeff created a local group to support LGBTQ+ youth, and since, Muncie OUTreach has fed many teens in need, provided social support, and supported kids in crisis. Muncie OUTreach is the only LGBTQ+ resource in East Central Indiana that provides education, peer support, and safe spaces to queer and trans youth. Our 10th year anniversary will kick off this fall with an open house in August, our first in-person pride festival in September, followed by a dinner and silent auction in October. Your partnership of the Muncie OUTreach 10th-anniversary events will help us to continue serving LGBTQ+ youth across East Central Indiana. We are so lucky to have so many community members, like you, who are invested in our success and help us as we continue to grow and prosper. Thank you for providing a welcoming community to all.
